All About Eyes

They say eyes are the gateway to the soul, right? SO why don’t we take care the best way we can. Sometimes we’re asked a variation of beauty questions and we decided to use a blog platform on our website to answer many of those questions. First question: Should Mascara go on Lashes or Lash Extensions?

So this is a two part answer, No, mascara should NOT go on lash extensions. PERIODT.

But for lash strips, it depends, we recommend putting mascara on before you put your lash strips on. It helps extend your lashes life by not using mascara. Sometimes mascara is needed to blend in with natural lashes, be sure to take proper steps to clean lashes after removal.

Second question: Is eye cream REALLY needed?

To us, YES INDEED!! Your skin needs moisture, and many of us struggle with bags and dark circles under your eyes. The skin under our eyes is more fragile and more prone to dryness, which causes lines & early signs of aging. Eye creams help combat that with heavier creamer texture, most have collagen, vitamin c, and retinol as key ingredients.

Eye creams is an essential skin care step in prepping the skin for makeup. One of my favs is Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment.

Third question: How to get rid of bags & puffy under eyes?

• staying hydrated

• this might seems like a joke but chilled cucumbers slices actually work

• chilled green/black tea bags

• getting sleep LOL - I know be serious

• pure rose water

• cold compress

• cold spoons - I promise I'm not being crazy

• frozen peas

• & of course eye creams
